Terri becomes an independent company at the turn of the year – meeting growing demand for sustainable forest machines
Datum: 17 December 2024
From the turn of the year, the forest machine company Terri will become an independent company, as demand for Terri’s thinning machines continues to grow both in Sweden and in the export markets.
In view of the positive development of the business, the parent company Alfing i Älmhult AB has decided that the time has come for Terri to continue as an independent company.
Terri AB will continue to develop, assemble and market its forest machines in Älmhult, while component manufacturing will be handled by Alfing.
– It is fantastic to see how interest in Terri’s machines has developed positively and that sales have increased more than sixfold over the past three years, says Claes Göran Claesson, CEO of Terri AB.
From the turn of the year, the forest machine company Terri will become an independent company, as demand for Terri’s thinning machines continues to grow both in Sweden and in the export markets.
– In addition to our leading market position for in-stand thinning machines in Sweden, we are also seeing increasing interest from the export markets.
– With that said, we think it is high time for the Terri business in Älmhult to become a separate entity that can continue to develop machines that meet the future demands of gentle forestry, concludes Claes Göran.
Terri looks forward to continued close cooperation with Alfing, but is also full of energy and ambition for the future as an independent company. They thank all employees, customers and partners for their support so far and look forward to continuing to grow and contribute to sustainable forestry – both in Sweden and internationally.
