Clear statistics: Terri’s forwarders and combi machines are popular

Datum: 15 March 2023

Terri tops the statistics for the highest number of registered forwarders/combi machines in the five-to-seven-tonne size segment in 2022.
With a total of 17 machines sold, Terri has almost doubled its sales in one year.
– Of course, this is very pleasing. Topping the statistics is proof that we make good forest machines, says Arne Isaksson, sales and marketing manager at Terri.

It is the website Skogsforum that has compiled the Swedish Transport Agency’s statistics. They clearly show that Terri has the most popular forwarders and combi machines in the segment in Sweden.
– Terri has clearly increased its sales, and I think it is because they have worked hard on and focused on good wheel-based machines, says Torbjörn Johnsen at Skogsforum.
– Terri has made a strong journey. On top of that, they have put a lot of effort into their sales. They have also been successful with their manufacturing and have been able to get hold of components for their machines. That is what makes it work.

For a few years now, virtually all machines in the five-to-seven-tonne payload size segment have been registered with the Swedish Transport Agency. This makes it possible to compare the results, and Skogsforum has focused on the years 2017–2022.
Here there is a clear change, not least thanks to the Terri 3, which was launched two years ago. From selling nine machines in 2021, sales landed at 17 last year.

The statistics from the Swedish Transport Agency also show that Swedish-made machines are highly valued. Of a total of 39 registered machines, 38 come from Swedish companies and one from the Czech Republic.
– Those are overwhelming figures, but when it comes to smaller forest machines, Sweden is a world leader, says Torbjörn Johnsen.

The expansion in the market means that greater manufacturing capacity is needed, and a new factory will open its doors in Älmhult in August.
– We are building new premises and expanding to meet future needs in the best possible way. We are ready for a continued increase in sales, says Arne Isaksson.
