Frödinge Maskinservice – simple, efficient and close to the customer
Robert Lipovac, workshop manager at Frödinge Maskinservice AB (formerly Söderberg & Haak in Frödinge), has been part of the company for more than two decades. His career began in 2002 with a background as a car mechanic, but since then he has mainly worked as a tractor mechanic. In 2019, Robert, together with his colleague Jörgen Florbäck, who is responsible for sales, became the owner of the company.
When Robert and Jörgen were asked about starting to work with Terri, the answer was obvious. “Since we are a full-service supplier for agriculture, working with Terri felt natural, as we have long experience of forest machines,” says Robert.
Robert describes the collaboration as one of the most efficient and smooth they have ever been part of. The direct communication with Terri means that the workshop can offer fast and personal service to its customers.
“Terri is a smaller manufacturer, which gives you a personal contact and makes the whole process considerably more efficient,” adds Robert. “They produce and handle sales themselves, while we take care of everything else such as repairs and service. We have three service vans, and our technicians go out to the customer to service or repair. If we run into problems, we contact Terri, who are quick to send out a technician from their side if support over the phone is not enough.”
According to Robert, one of the biggest advantages of Terri’s machines is how user-friendly and accessible they are.
“What really makes a difference is the customer contact with the factory, which makes it possible to adapt the machines to the customer’s specific needs. With Terri machines, customers get the highest quality in both assembly and components, something that is greatly appreciated,” explains Robert. “Terri’s machines are well thought-out and built to minimise major service costs. For example, they use bio-oil to reduce environmental impact, as this type of oil gives longer service intervals and therefore reduces waste,” Robert explains. “Terri also ensures that all components come from the best subcontractors and sets high requirements for specific certifications and training before technicians are allowed to service or repair their machines.”
Customer satisfaction with Terri’s forest machines is high in the area. Robert says that the customers who have invested in Terri are “super satisfied” and that interest is growing in the region. With the current 8–10 Terri machines in the area, mainly owned by farmers, it is clear that Frödinge Maskinservice, together with Terri, offers a solution that combines high quality and customer focus.
“Our experience of the collaboration is simply fantastic. Terri makes it smooth, simple and efficient. They really see their customers as individuals – something that unfortunately isn’t always a given among companies,” Robert concludes.
