Looking back on the past year

Terri’s 2018: “The best year so far”
It’s that time again!
Christmas and New Year are just around the corner, and the machines are getting some well-deserved rest. At Terri, we look back on a strong 2018 and look forward to an exciting 2019.
Just days before Christmas, Terri made sure that parts of the Halland forests will turn red in 2019 – a perfect end to a really good year. A combi machine was also delivered to Latvia this summer. More about that further down in this letter!
But let’s start from the beginning.
After the first wheeled Terri machine – the Terri 34c 8wd Forwarder – saw the light of day in 2017, both the combi and the harvester were launched this spring. This meant that the company’s range of wheeled forest machines was complete.
It was not long before the design and development of the Terri 3020B Band Aid+ tool carrier began.
– We were limping along this spring, as there was a lot that needed to be developed. After all the tests, the end of the year has been a success. It is now that it has really taken off. In fact, we are heading for our best year so far, says Hans Johansson, CEO.
– After Alfing’s acquisition of Transpo Konstruktion, one of the biggest changes in the company’s history, we now have a production area of 20,000 square metres, 130 employees and a turnover target of SEK 200 million. Because Terri is part of such a large production operation, we have short lead times for customer-specific machines. Something we are very proud of.
During the year, our presence, both in the forests and on social platforms, has increased. And with it, interest in Terri and their forest machines.
– That is something we notice very clearly. Not least on social media, where we have gained loads of new followers, says Pontus Wallden, sales representative.
After a strong 2018, the goal and sights are set on an even better 2019.
– We have a couple of big fairs to look forward to during the year. We will also be investing in a tour in central Sweden, and work on the Band Aid+ continues, says Pontus.
– We are stepping things up further. That is one thing that is certain!
We wish you all a Terri Christmas!
