MATTIAS SJÖSTRAND

Datum: 20 October 2026

With 26 years of experience in assembly & production.

His path to TERRI began straight after upper secondary school in 1991, when he went directly into industry. For 26 years he worked in assembly and production, sometimes as a supervisor but also in international collaborations.

Mattias “Tasse” Sjöstrand joined Terri around 2020, attracted by the chance to get close to production again, where quality and craftsmanship are central.

Today, the work is all about exactly that: hands-on work, adaptations and fine-tuning. No machine is completely standard, which is why both precision and feel are required.
For him, order and structure are a matter of course – that is what makes the quality consistent and the result durable.

His colleagues also play a big role; the atmosphere is unpretentious and helpful, making the work both more fun and smoother. A special memory is from Elmia, where interest was sparked when he got to show how well thought-out the forwarders really are.

Mattias describes himself as down-to-earth and happy to start early in the morning.
The forest is close by, and the freedom to simply step out onto the trails means a lot.
Hunting is his great passion, and in summer he goes fishing in the surrounding lakes. At home, his time is filled with various building projects, often with reclaimed materials – a deck, windows or doors given a new lease of life. Going forward, he wants to keep developing in what he does best: assembly, quality and order.

His advice to anyone thinking about starting at Terri is simple: here you will find good management, a great atmosphere and a culture where you quickly feel at home!
