The industry is fired up about Terri’s new product

After the launch of the Terri 3020B Band Aid+ tool carrier, last week it was time to show the machine to the industry at the Skydd fair in Stockholm. – I was really nervous on Tuesday when it kicked off. But it felt great; there was a lot of interest, says a satisfied Pontus Wallden at Terri.

On Tuesday 16 October, Terri’s latest venture was launched – the Terri 3020B Band Aid+ tool carrier. The idea for the machine was born this summer, in fire-ravaged Ljusdal, and the machine is intended to make things easier in future crisis situations. Last week it was then time to present the new product when the Skydd fair was held in Stockholm.
– As it is a new product in what is, for us, a new sector, we didn’t know what reactions we would get. But the response was entirely positive throughout, says Pontus Wallden.

The purpose of taking part in the fair, Pontus explains, was to make new acquaintances and get to know a new industry.
– We know exactly who the users of the machine are, but we needed to find out which route to take to reach potential customers. We succeeded in that, and now we have a lot of ideas to take with us, says Pontus.
– At the fair we showed the machine with a water tank. The big breakthrough came when we presented it as a tool carrier. It is precisely that flexibility – the fact that the machine is available in a wide range of versions – that seems to be of most interest to the industry. With our own production, we can design the machine according to needs and wishes.

Work on the tool carrier now continues. Among other things, a hydraulic cassette solution is being designed to make it easier to run out and roll up hose.
– We have several different ideas about how the machine can be developed, which we will come back to. It feels absolutely right with this machine, says Pontus.
